About this area
We are in Takayama, the three biggest secret foreign village for summer in Japan. One is Karuizawa, the other is Lake Nosiri, they are both in Nagano Pref., but the other is here in Miyagi Pref.
This is not an exciting urban area. This is a place to stay relaxed, and a place to enjoy marine sports. I realy enjoy surfing life here along the coast line. As our accommodation is located in the cost line, someone may think that it may be dangerous when we have earthquake. But this accommodation is located at the top of a small hill along the very steap slope, so this place is authorised to be a temporary evacuation site by this town called Shichigahama.
Our Rooms
Here in this accommodation we have only two separate guest rooms, one is for 4 guests(MAX), and another is for 5 guest(MAX). We can accommodate totally 9 adults. For kids please ask. At this time we do not adopt dormitory style because we regard it very important to meet and talk with each guests each time.
If your are thinking of staying here several days in a low, you have to buy something to eat, drink, etc before you leave JR Tagajyo station. We do not have grocery stores near by. There is a coffee shop which is open for 7am, you have to walk around 10minutes, but you can have breakfast in ocean front seats.
All of our accommodation options comprise luxury amenities such as personal sink, refrigerator, hair dryer, rental towel, free WiFi connection, disposable toothbrush, .etc.

How to get to us
If you have time, we can pick you up at the nearest JR station, so please ask if you have a JR pass. Be careful with the names of the JR lines around here.
You may see 4 or more JR line names. JR Senseki Line. This line connects Sendai, a small urban area, with a wonderful city called Ishinomaki, famous for its manga. When going out, please come to JR Tagajyo Station or Shimouma Station on this line. There is Starbucks Coffee at JR Tagajyo Station. Tagajo station is good on weekdays. On the other hand, JR Shimouma Station is better on weekends. You can also go to JR Matsushima Kaigan Station and Ishinomaki Station by this train. There are more than 260 islands in the island, and if you want to board a sightseeing boat that tours these islands, go to JR Matsushima Kaigan Station. If you want to go to Cat Island, go to Ishinomaki Station. and find someone there. There is usually a person with a big bag who visits an island called Tashirojima. Take a taxi there. can. JR Senzan Line. This line connects Sendai and Yamagata. If you want to enjoy hiking at Yamadera, take this line from Sendai Station to Yamadera Station, as it is an old temple in Yamagata Prefecture. This is a route connecting Shirakawa City in Fukushima Prefecture and Morioka City in Iwate Prefecture on the JR Tohoku Line. I have never used this line, but it is faster than the trains on the JR Senseki Line. This line has two stations, JR Shiogama Station and Kokufu Tagajyo Station.
As for the cheapest way to travel around Japan, the JR Pass is probably the cheapest, but it can be difficult to travel entirely by train alone. We have several guests who have taken the ferry from Sendai International Port to Nagoya International Port, or from Sendai International Port to Tomakomai Port. It’s cheap and I always take it with me when I go back to Hokkaido. You can also bring your rental car with you, so you can rest easy during your trip. Be careful during typhoon season. Cruises may be canceled.
